Hi, I’m Jason Miller, the person behind SharkFryer.

SharkFryer started for a simple reason: I was tired of wasting food and time because my air fryer didn’t work the way it was supposed to.

Like a lot of people, I bought an air fryer expecting quick, healthy meals. What I got instead was undercooked chicken, dry fries, random smoke, strange smells, and a lot of Googling phrases like “why is my air fryer not heating up?” and “is my air fryer broken or am I doing something wrong?”

That frustration turned into curiosity — and eventually into SharkFryer.

Why I Created SharkFryer

After using and testing multiple air fryer models over the years, I realized something important:

Most problems people have with air fryers are common, fixable, and poorly explained online.

Instead of clear answers, I kept finding:

  • vague advice
  • recycled manufacturer manuals
  • reviews written by people who clearly never used the product

So I decided to create a site that focuses on real use, real problems, and honest explanations.

What You’ll Find Here

On SharkFryer, I focus on:

  • Air fryer troubleshooting (heating issues, smoke, smells, error codes)
  • Honest air fryer reviews based on real use, not spec sheets
  • Cooking tips to prevent dry food and uneven results
  • Comparisons and buying guides written for normal home cooks, not tech experts

Everything is written with one goal:
help you get better results from your air fryer — or avoid buying the wrong one.

Real Experience, Not Lab Tests

I’m not a chef and I don’t pretend to be one.

What I am is someone who:

  • uses air fryers regularly at home
  • has tested different basket sizes, dual-zone models, and budget vs premium units
  • has dealt with overheating, poor airflow, burnt food, and “dead-on-arrival” appliances

If something works well, I say it.
If something is overhyped, I say that too.

How SharkFryer Makes Money

SharkFryer may earn a small commission from affiliate links when you buy through our recommendations.
This never affects what I review or recommend.

I only feature products that:

  • make sense for real users
  • solve actual problems
  • are worth their price

Trust matters more than clicks.

My Promise to Readers

  • No fake reviews
  • No copied content
  • No exaggerated claims
  • Clear, practical advice you can actually use

If an air fryer can be fixed, I’ll show you how.
If it’s not worth your money, I’ll tell you that too.

Thanks for being here — and happy air frying.
